Events Together Limited Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions on Eventstogether.co.uk you are bound by and agree to the relevant Terms and Conditions of Events Together Limited.

Definitions:

www.Eventstogether.co.uk is the website of Events Together Limited.

The following Terms and Conditions shall constitute a Contract of Agreement between you as a participant in an event and Events Together Limited and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes concerning the subject matter of these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Disclaimer:

Events Together Limited aims to offer an opportunity for single people to meet other like-minded single people in a controlled environment, which shall be but not limited to a public place, such as an outdoor setting suitable for the particular event chosen, and/or a licensed premises, hotel or other recognised public meeting place. Events Together Limited is not a matchmaking service and does not perform any type of formal vetting, character search or secondary verification of any personal information on Events Together Limited's participants, including marital status. During and after an Events Together Limited event, the onus is on you to verify any information given to you by another participant. If you decide to meet another participant following the Event the onus is also on you to be as cautious as you would when meeting any person whose background you don't know well, for example it is a wise precaution not to disclose home phone numbers or personal details at the first communication.

If you register with Eventstogether.co.uk, you register with Events Together Limited as the operator and you agree that neither Events Together Limited nor its associates, employees, service providers or sub-contractors are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise out of the Events Together Limited event or events program. These include, without limitation, damages arising out of injury sustained during an Events Together Limited activity, communicating with other participants in programs organised by Events Together Limited. Including, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and/or emotional distress or discomfort.

Events Together Limited is not liable for any injuries or damages of any kind, which result from any goods and services provided by third parties under the Events Together Limited or Events Together Limited name. These include damages and/or injuries that result from the venues and/or equipment or materials that we use for our Events Together Limited events. In the unlikely event of such injuries or damages arising you agree not to hold liable Events Together Limited nor its associates, partners, employees or sub-contractors with respect thereof.

Events Together Limited is not liable for any injuries,damages or subsequent health problems, without limitation, arising before,during or after an Events Together Limited event from pre-existing medical conditions participants may have, even if these have been made known to Events Together Limited in advance.

Events Together Limited is not liable for any costs incurred for transportation to and from an event arising from failure of vehicle, service or any other reason, without limitation. Similarly Events Together Limited is not liable for any transport or accommodation cost incurred as result of non-refundable tickets or bookings in the event that an Events Together Limited event is re-scheduled or canceled.

Events Together Limited is not liable for any damage, without limitation, which results from using the Eventstogether.co.uk website.

Events Together Limited Terms and Conditions:

By either booking or booking and subsequently attending an Events Together Limited event you warrant and represent that you abide by all the terms and conditions of this agreement. You also warrant that you abide by the specific Terms and Conditions of Events Together Limited's chosen event provider whether additional or variant Terms and Conditions may or may not apply.

Terms and conditions are subject to change by Events Together Limited at any time without prior notice.

Events Together Limited may change the price of Events Together Limited event tickets at any time without notice or recourse to existing purchasers.

For security and protection of our participants, a booking form must be completed which must include your home address. Prior to the event you will be sent a Medical Declaration form which must be completed in a full,signed and brought along to the event and handed to the event organiser.Upon arrival at an Events Together Limited event, you will be required to show your booking confirmation details which shall have been sent to you by e-mail and/or hard copy mail. In certain circumstances upon arrival at an Events Together Limited event you may be required to provide us with proof of identification such as a credit card or a driving licence. Events Together Limited will keep confidential all information supplied by you to Events Together Limited, and shall use or disclose such information only for the purpose for which such information was collected, or as required by law. Please see our Privacy Statement for more detailed information relating to this.

Your attendance at an Events Together Limited event is deemed to be a declaration and warranty by you that you are single and that you are at least 21 years old. You also declare that you are in a general good health and reasonably physically fit to the extent that you are able to take part in a chosen event without the need for any specialised medication, equipment or support other than that which can be self-administered and will not exclude you from a particular activity on the event of choice.

You must also make known to Events Together Limited any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may have an impact on your ability to take part in a specific activity or may put you in a situation of medical emergency should an emergency situation occur during an event. You must also make this information known to your instructor, skipper or guide for any Events Together activity you take part in. A Medical Declaration form to this effect must be provided (see above)

In order to secure a booking, Events Together Limited will ask for initial deposit or full payment for a particular event, where this will be typically (but not always) 100% of the full event price. Events Together Limited will request full and final payment of the event fee (less deposit paid) where applicable between 4 and 8 weeks of the event date and on issue of final invoice (where applicable) Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds are not provided for non-attendance at an Events Together Limited event. Additionally, Events Together Limited reserves the right to refuse admission or expel, without refund, any person who, in the opinion of the organisers is deemed to be acting offensively and/or disrupting the Events Together Limited event. Any such person will not be allowed to further participate in the event from which they are expelled. If we believe that you are in breach of any of our terms and conditions, Events Together Limited may terminate your licence to attend an Events Together Limited event at any time, without explanation, effective upon delivering a verbal or written notice to you. Your right to attend an event is not transferable unless agreed with Events Together Limited, through Events Together Limited or otherwise, at least seven working days before the event, subject to a £30 administration fee, and only at the discretion of Events Together Ltd.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable

You may transfer to another event subject to the above conditions only.

Cancellation after final invoice has been issued : When you have paid your final balance you have committed to attend the chosen event. Events Together's business is dependent on having a balanced and minimum number of attendees at a given event. If you drop out at short notice this may well jeopardise the whole event. This is not only very inconvenient for all the other clients but it damages Events Together's business. Therefore unfortunately we cannot offer any refund but may consider a transfer of your booking to a future event or a substitution to a friend or relative subject to the above terms and strictly at the discretion of Events Together management.
You may not authorise others to use your admission at any time without the knowledge and permission of Events Together Limited.

The only exceptions to this are: a) Major transportation problems beyond you control (e.g. July floods of 2007) b) A sudden death of next of kin (parent, sibling or child) In either case Events Together will offer a transfer without hesitation subsequent to agreement with Events Together.

Transfers: Transfers to alternative events are valid for 9 months.

In the unlikely situation of an Events Together Limited event being canceled, Events Together Limited will offer you a place on an alternative Events Together event or a full refund of any money paid. No other compensation will be considered. Events Together Limited does not provide refunds for a late starting time of our events as a result of participant not turning up or of other participants arriving late or as a result of any other unspecified reason.

Our age ranges (when given) are guidelines only and we do not offer a guarantee that every participant will fall exactly within the given age range.

Events Together Limited group sizes will be typically between 10 and 20 people per event with a minimum of 6, but this is not guaranteed.

Disclaimer of Warranty:

Events Together Limited do not offer warranties of any kind, expressed, implied, statutory, in any communication with Events Together Limited, or its associates, or otherwise with respect to the service. Events Together Limited does not warrant that your use of our organisation to offer, provide and host events will be safe, uninterrupted, always available, and error-free or will meet all your requirements. On occasion, media operatives may make film clips, take pictures or interview participants. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions herein you agree to permit us to use film, photographs or other media which may contain your likeness or speech for purposes of marketing and/or advertising future events. As a matter of courtesy however, Events Together will ask your permission if there is an intention to use a close-up shot for promotional purposes. Photos and video clips from most events will be posted on a photo sharing website in a private area open to Events Together clients by invite only. Events Together reserves the right to create similar user-groups or communities on line on sites such as Facebook for example, at any time.

As a registered participant of an Events Together Limited event, you are offered an opportunity to meet new people, including members of the opposite sex. However, this is no offer of a guarantee that you will be successful in finding a match with another participant at the event you attend.
